Byredo is a Stockholm-based fragrance brand I’ve long admired (and worn). In thinking of brands that would mirror the elegance and modernity of Oliver Peoples, Byredo was first to mind. A year after reaching out to Ben Gorham and his team, this first-ever luxury eyewear/fragrance collaboration launched as a Neiman Marcus exclusive, continuing for multiple seasons. Inspired by synesthesia and the air of Los Angeles, it’s still one of my favorite scents of all time.
